⚖️ Calgary man found guilty of 2023 murder, 2nd conviction in 16 years
Christopher Dunlop, 50, was found guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Judy Maerz, the second woman that he has killed in the last 16 years. Dunlop had just finished a 13 year sentence for manslaughter and was approved for statutory release in 2019.

Newly released report on the death of B.C. serial killer Robert Pickton at a Quebec prison says he was fatally stabbed with a broken broom handle. The investigation found that inmates routinely had access to dangerous objects due to security gaps.
